An incubation space for new standards and solutions, certifications and codes of conduct, and consensus building for ethical implementation of intelligent technologies. To ensure every stakeholder involved in the design and development of autonomous and intelligent systems is educated, trained, and empowered to prioritize ethical considerations so that these technologies are advanced for the benefit of humanity.

Ethically Aligned Design

"Ethically Aligned Design: A Vision for Prioritizing Human Wellbeing with Artificial Intelligence and Autonomous Systems" (EAD, Version 1) represents the collective input of over one hundred global thought leaders from academia, science, government and corporate sectors in the fields of Artificial Intelligence, ethics, philosophy, and policy.

EAD, Version 2, will feature thirteen sections created by over two hundred-fifty global thought leaders and launch in late 2017.

The Initiative is global, open and inclusive, welcoming all individuals or representatives of organizations dedicated to advancing technology for humanity by prioritizing ethical considerations in the design of autonomous systems that include:
